Just playing around with Windows Live Writer and it's mostly pretty cool. The first problem I've encountered is the lack of image support on Blogger, which is pretty much a showstopper. Odd really, because Blogger does support images, but I guess this is a beta...

It's not that the Writer team didn't want to support image uploading for Blogger. Blogger only supports image posting through the Blogger admin interface (or through Google's Hello/Picasa images tools). Unfortunately, unlike most other blog services, Blogger does not expose an API that lets 3rd party tools post images to your blog. If Google ever exposes such an API, we'll be there to support it.
